Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sleep Well Journal (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit this website. By using this site you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We may collect:
- Usage and device data, such as pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate location, browser type, and your IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies, including advertising and analytics identifiers (such as a Taboola click identifier and, where enabled, the Meta Pixel).
- Information you provide, such as an email address if you contact us.
How we use information
We use this information to operate and improve the site, measure advertising performance and conversions, attribute referrals to our advertising partners, prevent fraud, and comply with the law.
Advertising, the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API
Where enabled, we use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API (CAPI) to measure and improve advertising. This may involve sharing hashed identifiers and event data (such as a page view or click) with Meta Platforms, Inc. so that ad performance can be measured and conversions attributed. We may also use a Taboola pixel and click identifier for the same purpose. For the current native launch the Meta Pixel and CAPI are not active; this section governs them once enabled.
Third-party processors
We share limited data with service providers that help us run the site and our advertising, including Meta (advertising/measurement), ClickBank (the retailer that processes purchases of products linked here), Taboola (native advertising), and Vercel (hosting and analytics). These parties process data under their own privacy policies.
Cookies and how to opt out
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise the opt-out, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our footer, or email us at support@sleepwelljournal.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
EU/UK rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU or UK, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Where we run advertising or analytics in these regions, we gate non-essential tracking until you consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@sleepwelljournal.com.
Data retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
